Calls For An Upgrade

Some changes are being made going forward with the project. After some careful examining, the team realized the FRBC box needed an upgrade and some members from different teams needed to be put together in order to help. As a result a new team was made called the Drafting Team who are tasked with remaking the electrical parts of the box in Solidworks. The members of the Drafting team are Uba, Yosias, Anthony. Uba is tasked with recreating the electrical parts like the Steppermotor & PIXY camera, Yosias is making the panels in Solidworks, and Anthony is remake the turntable.

The Manufacturing team tasked with making the FRBC box realized needed an upgrade after seeing some flaws with the current model of the box. The reasons being that larger boots won't fit into the box because it was too small, the light fixtures were too big and can bump into the boots while the box is working. Now the Manufacturing Team is getting assistance with another class at the GRCTC called "Manufacturing Engineering" to fix these issues. The FRBC team said they wanted it to be taller because of the change in the mechanism motor and they are changing the panels for the doors from stainless steel to aluminum. There are some other details they need to ask about that will be worked out moving on.

Jacob and Eduardo are working on a new Stepper Motor and Motor Driver. For those who don't know, the Stepper Motor is a Torque Axel that allows the base plate of the boots to spin inside the box and the Motor Driver is a regulator that helps control the electricity and allow specific codes to go to the motor or flow to the motor. The new motors will allow more weight to be added to the plate and the motor driver will better help the Stepper Motor gain info faster.

A of now this all the info that I could get out to all of you wonderful people! Keep up to date and I will keep you all posted!
